A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed.

They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress.
The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses.
The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
